Solo Racing / J-203
Since we introduced the J-203 it has dominated solo marathon racing throughout the United States and Canada. Everett Crozier's redesign of Gene Jensen's highly successful J-200 design, the J-203 features a redesigned, "tucked in" center section. Giving paddlers easier access to the water for a faster, more powerful stroke and more efficient paddling over the course of a long race.
The J-203 is responsive and lively. The boat moves effortlessly through wakes and trash water, allowing paddlers to precisely position the canoe for optimum wake riding in packs or on tight courses. With the J-203's fast acceleration and effortless speed, and drafting ability, it is no wonder that this hull has dominated the men's category in canoe races since its introduction in 2000.

Ultra-light w/Kevlar® 28lbs. $3,299 USD
Ultra-light hulls are stiff and incredibly light. They are ideal for speed and distance paddling and for all people or conditions that demand the lightest gear. In our Ultra-light construction a structural-foam core and ribs are laminated into the hull and sides. We also add extra fabric layers to strengthen specific targeted areas. Aluminum plates are strategically laminated into the hull. Seats, footbraces, and all hardware is then riveted into these plates. This gives a very secure connection and eliminates rivet heads on the exterior. Kevlar®, the fiber used for aerospace, body armor and bulletproof vests, is amazingly light and strong. We've used it for more than 30 years to construct extremely light and tough canoes. Wenonah Canoe is the worlds largest maker of canoes using Kevlar®.

It's ideal for paddlers desiring more stiffness in their composite canoe. Graphite transfers energy better than any of our other materials, which makes these the most crisp paddling canoes. The aesthetic appeal of a black Graphite canoe is also undeniable.
